Q: Does my entry ticket include a hot air balloon ride?
A: No. Tickets includes entry into the festival, free parking and shuttle service and live music. Tethered rides will be available for an additional cost, and a portion of those sales will benefit the Kyle, Buda Kiwanis Club.
Q: With the construction on Lehman Rd, will the festival take place at Lake Kyle?
A: Our contractor is confident that Lake Kyle will be accessible over Labor Day weekend. Should anything change, we will communicate in advance on this website and on our social media platforms, newsletters and KYLE 10 channel.
Q: How much does it cost to get into the festival?
A: Festival session ticket prices* are:

*Festival entrance does not include balloon rides. Tethered rides will be available for an added cost. A portion of those sales benefit the Kyle, Buda Kiwanis Club.
*Children 10 and under are free to get into the festival. (Tethered rides are an additional cost and riders must be at least 54 inches tall).*
All balloon related events are weather permitting; our Balloonmiester will make the final decision to fly, tether and glow. Safety is always our top priority. Weather may include rain, high winds, lightning and other inclement conditions.

Q: I already have a ticket. What do I do when I get to the festival site?
A: When you exit the shuttle, look for the signs directing festival goers to the appropriate ticket lines. There will be two lines: Ticket Holders and Ticket Purchases.
Q: Where can we park?
A: We strongly recommend using the free parking and shuttles. Free parking will be located at:
- Lehman High School – 1700 Lehman Rd., Kyle, TX 78640
- Tobias Elementary School – 1005 E. FM 150, Kyle, TX 78640
- Medical Professionals Building at Seton Hospital – 1180 Seton Parkway, Kyle, TX 78640
From there, you can hop onto a free shuttle to get to the event location.
Shuttle hours are:
Friday, Aug. 30 — 5 p.m. to festival conclusion
Saturday, Aug. 31 — 6:30 a.m. to noon, then again from 4 p.m. – festival conclusion
Sunday, Sept. 1 — 6:30 a.m.-10 a.m.
Buses will run continuously throughout the hours listed above, dropping guests off at the festival ticketing area, then picking them up for the return trip.
Handicap parking will be located at all shuttle locations. ADA buses will be available at each parking location.
Q: Will the shuttles get us to the festival in time for the sunrise mass ascensions?
A: Yes. We recommend arriving at the parking areas by 6:15 a.m. to catch one of the first buses of the day.
Q: Can we purchase tickets for a tethered hot air balloon ride?
A: Yes. Tether rides will be available for purchase on-site for Friday and Saturday evenings. Please click here for more information. (No advance sales.)
Q: Can we bring our pets?
A: Lake Kyle is a nature preserve and pets are not allowed.
Q: Will alcohol be sold at the event?
A: Beer, Wine and Liquor will be sold at the event. Cash and Cards will be accepted. ATMs will be located onsite.
Q: Can we bring in coolers?
A: Coolers will not be allowed into the event. Water and baby bottles will be allowed.
Q: Is there anything additional I should bring?
A: Bug spray and a place to sit, e.g., lawn chairs or blankets.
Q: Do activities cost money once I am in the park?
A: Yes. Food, drinks (including the beer garden), vendor booths, and some activities, such as tethered rides, are available in the park for a fee. Most vendors take credit cards. There are also ATMs on site.
Q: Will a church service take place on Sunday at the event?
A: No. No church services will take place at this event.
Q: How can I sign up for Event Updates/Text Alerts?
A. Festival guests will be able to get text alerts with important festival
information during the event. Sign ups will begin the day before the festival. Check this website and our social media (including Facebook and Twitter) for instructions.
Onsite sign ups will have instructions on signs at the entry gate.
